Using our December meal ideas calendar, we’ve put together a week of meal suggestions for December 1-6 for you. With all of the holiday planning and prep going on, allow us to help you decide what to make for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
These ideas are just for inspiration, so pick and choose as you like. Depending on how many people you’re cooking for, you may have leftovers, in which case you could have leftovers the next day for lunch or even for dinner.
Some people may be getting lunch out with coworkers or friends. Or maybe you’re just craving takeout for the night. You can use this weekly meal plan for those times you simply don’t know what to make.
Week 1 (December 1-6)
Monday, December 1
- Breakfast recipe: Breakfast wrap with scrambled eggs and avocado.
- Lunch recipe: Caprese sandwich (tomato, mozzarella, basil).
- Dinner recipe: Sheet-pan chicken thighs and roasted veggies.

Tuesday, December 2
- Breakfast: Berry oatmeal (like this blueberry oatmeal recipe or this strawberry oatmeal recipe).
- Lunch: Roasted tomato soup with croutons.
- Dinner: Tacos (like these salmon tacos or these air fryer chicken tacos).

Wednesday, December 3

- Breakfast: Vanilla banana chia pudding.
- Lunch: Chicken Caesar salad.

- Lunch: Cranberry chicken salad sandwich.
- Dinner: Spinach ricotta ravioli with pesto.
Friday, December 5

- Breakfast: Banana kiwi spinach smoothie.
- Lunch: Deli turkey avocado wrap.
- Dinner: Chili dogs and coleslaw.
