Weekly Self-Care (Nov 16-22)

Read a chapter (or more) from a book you love. Revisit one of your favorite books, or get a new release and lose yourself in a brand new story. Find a spot on the couch or a quiet place to read your book.
Add an inspiring framed quote to your workspace. You could get a professional print or put a design together yourself to print out from home. This quote can be a timely reminder at your workspace to motivate or inspire you.
Enjoy some time outside on your lunch break. If you can, go for a lunchtime walk. It gives you a break from your screen and allows you to process and get some clarity.
Try some deep-breathing exercises. Find a quiet spot for this. You could try the end of your bed, a cozy corner, or outside in the garden if the weather allows for it. There are lots of different breathing exercises you can try, but one of the most straightforward is to inhale for three seconds, hold for three seconds, and exhale for three seconds.
Take a no-screen break. If you find it tough to get away from your screens, just step out into the backyard for some fresh air or go for a nearby walk without your phone. Really look around and take in your surroundings.
Catch up on your favorite TV show. If you and several friends are watching the same show, you can make this a weekly activity where you watch the episode in your individual homes and then discuss what happened in your group chat.
Meet up for brunch with a friend/family. Find a local place to go to and keep the tone relaxed and casual. This is simply about catching up and having some great food together.
