Our weekend reset checklist can help you have both a productive and relaxing weekend. You can reset and clean your home with the at-home ideas and prepare for the new week with the ‘look ahead’ ideas.
Use the social and self-care ideas to give yourself a break before the new week begins. Try lots of the ideas, or simply pick and choose ideas you feel will work for you.

Weekend Reset Checklist

At Home
- Change the bed sheets and towels.
- Declutter and organize the house.
- Tidy the living room and bedroom(s).
- Clean the bathroom(s).
- Clean the kitchen.
- Water the house plants.
- Do the laundry.
Look-Ahead
- Set your goals for next week.
- Put a fun activity on your calendar.
- Do the grocery shopping.
- Clear your email inbox.
- Review and update your to-do list.
- Meal plan and prep for the week ahead.
Social
- Plan a get-together with friends.
- Have some family time.
- Message family and friends.
- Respond to messages and emails.
- Make a list of upcoming birthdays.
Self-Care
- Have a relaxing bubble bath.
- Get a mani/pedi.
- Make your favorite comfort food.
- Spend time outdoors.
- Journal and reflect on the past week.
- Schedule some “me” time.
- Do something active.
- Sleep in (if you can).
- Work on a fun personal project.
- Unwind and do nothing for a while.

30-Minute Weekend Reset Checklist

If you only have 30 minutes, try just these ideas:
- Make your bed.
- Start a load of laundry.
- Empty the dishwasher.
- Clear and wipe the kitchen counters.
- Wipe the bathroom sink and mirror.
- Change the bathroom towels.
- Take 10 minutes to put away things that are out of place.
- Write next week’s grocery list.
- Check your calendar for the week ahead.
